AAR Cuda Registry… Hard to believe ive been doing this for nearly 25 years. In that time i’ve watched other people start registries for other cars most of which threw in the towel within 5 years. Along the way i’ve helped countless people reunite their engines…transmissions and various paperwork for their AAR Cuda. From starting in 1999/2000 with only 300 or so AAR’s and no paperwork and building a very rudimentary website to now having 2016 AAR’s on file various related paperwork from dealer invoices to broadcast sheets and SIAC membership applications and upgrading the site several times along the way I never thought id be doing it this long...

So after a long search for the right AAR Cuda for myself and to represent the website and what I do I purchased the car you see here. Here is a little history on the car.
Mike Schotz purchased the car from Schmitts Chrysler Plymouth in Bowmansville, N.Y. in late 1970 early 1971 Mike enjoyed the car like anyone would, taking care of the car and keeping it garaged. Mike had asked that Schmitts put 4.30 gears in the rear before he took the car off the lot.. But he left the 3.55 gear in the transmission so the speedo was never accurate...

I have 6 people who went to claim broadcast sheets and other items from the Lost and Found section but the cell phone numbers/email address’s were no longer valid. So while they know someone has their cars sheet or engine etc. etc. they cant claim it. Had any of the sheets or paperwork been on file here at the registry I could have gladly sent it to them with proof of ownership. It is a full tubbed race car too.

UPDATE!! The car is now under going a restoration and will be returned to its factory stock appearance. Am looking forward to see the end result. Would be nice to see both the AAR Cuda and T/A Challenger TX9/H6E4 side by side at the next reunion. Hopefully the AAR will be done by then.
